Making Bird Feeders!

We began our day this week by walking over to Evans Park Senior Living to deliver some cheerful crafts we made last week as part of our Kindness lesson. They were so excited to get our crafts and we had the wonderful bonus of getting an opportunity to visit with some residents who were outside enjoying the sunshine.

Once we returned to Service Stars we shifted our focus to the birds! We learned about why backyard birds are important parts of our community and we made bird feeders to attract and nourish them. Hopefully you and your child were able to find a good place to hang their bird feeders!

2) Can you name a bird commonly found in Massachusetts?
