I was born and raised in Newton, and have lived here for over 40 years.  A proud product of the Newton Public Schools, I have spent the past twenty years at my alma mater, Day Middle School, currently as a Health and Wellness and Physical Education teacher.   I know how much Newton has positively shaped my life and it’s important to me to give back to this community and teach youth the importance of building community strength through service.  Service Stars is the perfect place for kids to help build a brighter future for Newton, and the surrounding areas.
